Transformation of Streptomycin Markers in Rough Strains of Rhzzobzum Lupznz
RECENTLY, streptomycin dependence and resistance in bacteria have come to be viewed as accommodations requiring or permitting certain alterations by streptomycin of the expression of other genetic traits carried by the organism (e.g., GORINI 1964). For future evaluation of this viewpoint, it would be useful to have information about the relation of genetic factors governing dependence, resistan...
متن کاملEffects of Rhizobium– Mycorrhizae Symbiosis and Foliar Application of Urea on Some Traits of Soybean
In order to investigate the effect of rhizobium bacteria, mycorrhiza fungi and foliar application of urea on qualitative and quantitative traits of soybean an experiment was conducted based on randomized complete block design with four replications. The experiment included six treatments as: Control (C), Rhizobium bacteria (R), Rhizobium bacteria + Mycorrhiza fungi (R+M), Rhizobium bacteria + F...
متن کاملEffect of Rhizobium and Mycorrhiza on Some Physiological Traits, Yield and Qualitative Characteristics of Pinto Beans in Deficit Irrigation Condition
In order to evaluate the effect of biofertilizers (Rhizobium and mycorrhiza) on yield and qualitative characteristics of Pinto bean under deficit irrigation, an experiment was conducted as split plot based on a randomized complete block design with three replications in 2017. Experimental treatments included irrigation regime with two levels (normal and deficit irrigation) as main plots and bio...
متن کاملAgrobacterium-Mediated Transformation of the Oryza sativa Thaumatin-Like Protein to Canola (R Line Hyola308) for Enhancing Resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum
Background: Canola is an agro-economically oilseed crop. Yield loss due to fungal disease of stem rot caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is a serious problem in canola cultivation. Thaumatin-like proteins are large groups of the pathogenesis-related proteins which provide resistance to the fungal infection in response to invading pathogens and play a key role in plant defense s...
متن کاملGenetic transformation of Rhizobium leguminosarum by plasmid DNA.
We demonstrated the genetic transformation of Rhizobium leguminosarum by R68.45 plasmid DNA by freezing and thawing cell suspensions in the presence of R68.45 plasmid DNA and 20 mM MgCl2. Clones resistant to kanamycin and tetracycline were recovered at a frequency of 10(-8) per recipient cell. No colonies that were doubly drug resistant were recovered in parallel control experiments.
